Olivia has been behind the chair for five years and specializes in low-maintenance color designed to grow out softly and seamlessly. She’s known for creating lived-in blends that feel natural, effortless, and tailored to each client’s lifestyle.
Her approach is detail-oriented and thoughtful, with a focus on longevity—ensuring her guests leave feeling confident in their color long after they leave the salon. Olivia especially loves custom color work, taking the time to refine each placement and tone so every result feels personal and uniquely theirs.
Outside of the salon, Olivia is a self-proclaimed homebody who appreciates slow, quiet moments. You can often find her wandering a local farmers market, enjoying a cozy coffee shop, or spending time with music and travel—always finding inspiration in the little things.
Kayleigh
stylist
With an innate eye for beauty and a natural touch behind the chair, Kayleigh brings a sense of ease and excellence to every client experience.
A Wichita native, her love for hair and makeup has been lifelong—but it wasn’t until after high school that she followed the quiet pull toward what would become her calling. From the moment she stepped into the salon world, her gift for color, especially soft blonding and lived-in tones, became unmistakably clear.
Kayleigh is driven, grounded in her faith, and carries an effortless confidence that can’t be taught—only felt. Her vision is sharp, her ambition steady, and her presence already turning heads in the industry.
When she’s not perfecting her craft, you’ll find her spending time with close friends, deep in a good book, or filling her Sundays with community and faith.
Rooted in purpose and driven by passion, she’s one to watch.
Chelsea
stylist
​Chelsea has been behind the chair for 13 years, specializing in beaded row extensions, lived in color, and all things copper. As a seasoned extension wearer herself, she understands the confidence and transformation they bring and being able to give that same feeling to her clients is what she loves most.
Chelsea has a deep passion for color and the artistry behind it. She’s inspired by continuing education, thoughtful technique, and creating hair that feels effortless, elevated, and personalized. Every service is approached with intention and care, so clients leave not only loving their hair, but feeling confident and refreshed.o
Outside of the salon, Chelsea enjoys Pilates, reading a good book, listening to podcasts about business growth and guest experience, traveling, and spending time with friends. She happiest watching sunsets, feeling creatively in flow, and cuddling her cat Boston.
Chelsea’s work is rooted in connection, confidence, and creating an experience that feels just as good as it looks.
Megan
stylist
With 17 years behind the chair, Megan specializes in hand-tied and genius weft extensions and creating timeless, low-maintenance color that enhances natural tones and supports long-term hair health.
She’s known for her thoughtful approach—focusing on results that feel effortless, grow out seamlessly, and truly fit her clients’ everyday lives.
When she’s not in the salon, Megan is spending time with her two kids, enjoying life in College Hill, going on walks with her dog, and soaking up slow evenings at home. She values connection, whether that’s with her clients, her family, or through music and podcasts that are always playing in the background.

ABOUT the BUSINESS
Salon Hygge was started in 2022 when the owner, Mallory, decided it was time to go off on her own to be able to tailor the environment, retail, and experience she was giving to her clients. The goal was to create a space that was inviting, cozy, education focused, and above all felt luxurious. From the high end products and retail, Mallory's years of experience and knowledge, and the cozy wash of natural light, this space is sure to give all the Hygge vibes and provide clients with haircare and retail that stand out amongst the rest.
Mallory
Founder​
Mallory is the founder of Hygge and the creative direction behind its quiet, elevated approach to hair. With over a decade in the industry, she’s known for her signature lived-in color, soft dimension, and an eye for detail that prioritizes longevity and ease.
Hygge was built as a reflection of how she believes hair—and the salon experience—should feel: intentional, calming, and deeply personalized. Every element, from the service flow to the environment itself, has been thoughtfully designed by Mallory to create something that feels both refined and effortless.
In this season, Mallory’s focus is centered on growing and mentoring her team, ensuring each guest who walks through the doors experiences the same level of care and quality she’s known for. While her personal books are limited, she works closely with each stylist and fully stands behind the experience they provide.
